CAVE CLASSES
Strength & Conditioning
Open to all abilities and we teach all members of the class to come away with a huge amount of new insight into technique and drills on classic lifts such a Back Squats, Bench Press and Deadlifts.
All classes contain a varied conditioning element for example interval training on Concept 2 machines.
Fun varied sessions teaching the foundations of strength and conditioning.
Olympic Weightlifting
Olympic Weightlifting is an incredible feat of both physical and mental strength. The sport concentrates on two very technical lifts; the ‘Snatch’ and the ‘Clean & Jerk’.
Safety is paramount.
Discipline, concentration and dedication are required to master these lifts. We advise that no-one attempts an Olympic lift without prior training and supervision.
Youth Strength & Conditioning
Despite previous misconceptions that resistance training was unsafe or unsuitable for young people, a substantial amount of scientific evidence now supports its use by children and adolescents, highlighting numerous benefits for performance, health, and injury prevention.
At Cave Fitness, we provide Youth Strength and Conditioning in a safe environment, led by UKSCA-accredited coaches who focus on teaching the fundamentals of movement. Our staff is DBS checked and up-to-date with safeguarding and First Aid.
Pilates
A series of slow & controlled movements to strengthen the core and lumbar spine. Focussing on posture and alignment whilst developing the deep inner core muscles including pelvic floor.
Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Minis, Kids & Teens
Kids FUNdamentals class working on developing all the physical movements including; jumping skipping hopping landing balancing ect and building on these with exercises such as squat push pull hinge & brace. Classes focus on fun and games based practise and are open to all abilities. The age recommendation is just a guide and your child will be placed in the suitable group soon arrival
LBT (Legs, Bums & Tums)
Dance your troubles away in this upbeat aerobics style class. Follow along with this instructor led class, as you learn basic steps to create a simple routine. Whilst fun is the goal here – an element of coordination is required.
Boxfit
Release your inner warrior in this up tempo boxing to music class. Follow along in this instructor lead session where you’ll cover technique learn a combination and leave feeling exhilarated.
Circuits
This is a studio class designed to give an all over body workout. Using a mix of bodyweight, cardiovascular and exercises using light weights with an endurance focus to really get up a sweat. Work at your own level in this station based circuit class.
